Coming from the party anthem dance track ‘Sober Up’, singer-songwriter-producer Fern. takes us to the other end of the spectrum with his latest release ‘Dance For Me!’. The song sets a dark and melancholy mood, while embodying the feeling of loneliness and desire.
The music video directed by Enzo Valdez of Sindikato Studios, takes us through the journey of the metaphysical torture brought by loss and solitude. Listen to Dance For Me! on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2YGaib7
In the video Fern. plays opposite commercial model McKenzie Kinsella. Kenzie (McKenzie) plays the love interest that seems to be haunting Fern. as he goes through the motions of loneliness. But the video then takes a turn when it reveals that Fern. is indeed the one haunting Kenzie. Deeply psychological in nature, the video uses a mixture of visuals elements and treatment coupled with its pathological use of stark red hues. Overall the video helps to further emphasize the almost carnal nature of the song’s emotion.

The mellow song shows a darker and more mature side of Fern. who plans to release an EP ‘LOVELESS’ this October. ‘Dance For Me!’ released on all streaming platforms early this August under the care of Universal Records. As the song does the rounds steadily gaining streams, Fern. gears up for the release of one more song in collaboration with a local female R&B/Soul – Pop artist before he debuts his EP.
